The Aroma Company

At Aroma, we specialise in the design and production of espresso pod machines totally Made in Italy. We research and devise innovative and smart solutions to make our machines more and more appreciated both in Italy and abroad. We are a young company and for this reason we are able to renew ourselves and adapt to the ever more demanding market requirements. We never stop!

Our Origins

The idea of opening our company came from two fundamental elements: a deep love for coffee and a long-standing friendship.

It was 2008 when Giuseppe De Mauro, our founder, decided to open a new business with a childhood friend. Initially, he invested in the resale of espresso coffee pods and machines. This experience allowed him to observe the sector from close quarters, study a wide range of models and thus refine his knowledge to understand what improvements were needed to the dispensing systems of the time.

After a year, Giuseppe decided to hand over the business to his partner and return to his homeland to his family. Once back home, he continued to study increasingly innovative dispensing systems, which over the years have been approved and patented.

Today the company is run by Caterina and Martina De Mauro, two young women who have chosen to carry on the family business following their father's example of research and innovation.

Our mission is one: to take Aroma and the waffle system further and further afield. Proudly exporting the true 'Made in Italy' of craftsmanship and professionalism all over the world.

RECYCLABLE MATERIALS

We are reducing the use of plastic as much as possible, from the packaging to the bodies, which are mainly made of stainless steel. We make durable products, in fact our machines can be repaired thanks to the spare parts that are always available. We do not make disposable products.

PATENTED LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION

All our products have very low energy consumption, in line with European standards.

COMMITMENT TO BECOMING PLASTIC FREE

We are increasingly looking towards the green future. Our goal is to make 100% machines plastic free by 2025.

Our company is ISO 9001 certified, the most famous and recognised standard that defines the requirements for the implementation of a quality management system.

Controlled by an impartial body, the certified company is organised in such a way as to keep all aspects of the business under control and to ensure the reproducibility of performance in order to maintain and, above all, improve the quality standards provided.

THE SMART GROUP

The smart unit was born from the market's need for a product capable of cutting costs and streamlining maintenance operations.

The smart unit does not include torpedoes, which often make descaling less easy, but more simply disassembles into three complementary parts, allowing free access to the entire heating unit.

THE STANDARD GROUP

The standard Aroma unit is the flagship of the entire production. Forged from years of testing and perfected in the process, this unit is mounted on the premium line of the Aroma production.

Its all-brass version is dedicated to the HORECAROMA line. It is characterised by a particularly creamy delivery and temperature stability, thanks to the careful study of shapes and materials.

All these innovations have allowed us to receive the prestigious UIBM patent from the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, for having brought greater utility or convenience by modifying known objects such as machines or parts of them, tools, instruments, capable of conferring a particular efficiency. A peculiarity of only a few states, including Italy.
