Caffè Carditello is born between Aroma and Foundation
Aroma pod machines become the official sponsor of the Carditello Royal Palace Foundation, creating delicious Caffè Carditello pods in their honor.
In the agricultural expanses of the province of Caserta, a few kilometers from the Royal Palace of Caserta, stands the Royal Palace of Carditello, the hunting estate of King Ferdinand of Bourbon.
Aroma, a company specializing in the design and production of coffee machines, becomes a sponsor of the Foundation, which manages and supervises the renovation and events taking place at the Reggia di Carditello ( to learn more about the website and events, click here ).
The Caffè Carditello project
The Caffè Carditello project was launched in 2020, not just a café but a project of redemption and revitalization. The Royal Palace, rescued from abandonment and decay, has in recent years regained its former architectural splendor, and its activities have been renewed: from the breeding of the Persian horse, native to the site, to a wide variety of social activities, from open-air concerts to hot air balloon flights.
The proceeds from the sale of Caffè Carditello will help finance the renovations and countless activities on the site.
The Carditello Palace – commissioned by Ferdinand IV of Bourbon and built around 1787 by Francesco Collecini, a collaborator of Luigi Vanvitelli – began as a Royal Farm with the breeding of Persano horses and the first royal factory of buffalo mozzarella.
Today, after having resisted the wounds of crime and been reclaimed by the state, Carditello is an example of redemption and rebirth, open to families, children, and refugees thanks also to a SPRAR agreement.
